The challenge
A product update can be technically accurate and still leave readers wondering why it matters. At devtodev, the task was to turn information from the product team into news, newsletters and social content that customers could understand and use.
My work
I gathered technical information from product managers, designers and engineers, with occasional input from company leadership. I wrote the content and adapted the explanation to each channel.
The topics included product integrations, dashboard labels and AI-assisted SDK integration. These were subjects I explained in marketing content; my role was product communication.
The writing focused on three questions: what changed, where it fits into the reader’s work and what to do next. Product news allowed room for explanation, while email and social versions brought the main point forward.
Lead-capture launch
Alongside the writing, I helped launch a lead-capture flow for game-development reports. I updated content across several Wix pages and revised the automation processes, including configuration in an integration tool. The project moved from testing to a live launch.
What I delivered
- Product-news copy explaining features and integrations.
- Newsletter content and social adaptations.
- Page-content updates and automation changes for the launched lead-capture flow.
A good fit if: You need product news, newsletters or launch content written by someone who can work with specialists and make the detail understandable.
